FROM US TO YOU…Have a fun, safe and splendid summer break!

2026 – 2027 SCHOOL CALENDAR

June 1 and 2, 2026

June 2 ~ students dismissed at 11:00 am for Summer Break

GRADE 8 CLAP-OUT: Our annual grade 8 clap-out will take place on the last day of school, June 2 at approximately 10:15 AM.  Parents may enter through the high school and line up by the high school cafeteria to watch as students cross the bridge.

LIBRARY BOOKS:  If your child has not turned in their library book, they must do so by Monday, June 1, 2026 and if not returned there will be a fee added to their Infinite Campus account.

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY CHROMEBOOK AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR? Students will be responsible for the maintenance and care of their Chromebook over the summer the same way they are throughout the school year. Any damage or loss of the device will be the responsibility of the student, and any repair/replacement fee(s) will be assessed.  If there is an issue with the device during the summer break, arrangements to be dropped off for repair are done by emailing Mr. Hadden at haddenn@perry-lake.org. If a student/parent does not wish to retain their Chromebook during summer break, the device is to be given to Mrs. Somogyi in the Perry Middle School Library by 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 2.  A check-in/return form will be completed for the returned device and stored for the summer. Current grade 8 students are to hold on to their Chromebook and return them to the high school at the beginning of the new school year.

LOST and FOUND ITEMS: Please have your child check the Lost and Found items in the middle school cafeteria.  All items that are not claimed by noon on Tuesday, June 2 will be donated to the Thriving Threads.

CLINIC REMINDERS:

  • Medications stored in the clinic must be picked up by an adult by Monday, June 1st at NOON.  All expired medication will be discarded.
  • A new medication form must be completed for any medication for the upcoming school year. Prescriber Medication Forms are available on the Perry Local Schools website under> Department > Clinic > Form tabs are located on the right side of page or forms are available in the clinic.
