Now entering his second year in his current role, Dr. Basich is committed to creating a student-centered learning environment where every student has meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed. He believes in providing engaging, hands-on learning experiences that help prepare students for the next steps in their educational and career journeys. He values strong partnerships with families, recognizing that collaboration between home and school is essential to student success. Through collaboration, innovation, and a focus on continuous improvement, he is dedicated to supporting students, educators, and families while ensuring every learner is equipped for future success.

It is a great privilege to have the opportunity to continue to serve the Perry students, faculty, and community in a new and expanded role as an administrator for our 5th through 8th grades.  I am excited to continue to learn, grow, and lead while leaning on my previous diverse experiences out of state as well as working in some of the highest performing districts of Ohio.  It is my goal to positively impact the community by helping to maximize all students and educators in the building.  These unique formative years are filled with growth and learning academically as well as socially. We will work to foster an environment that helps lead, challenge, and support our students throughout this journey and equips them with the skills needed to find success in whatever avenue they choose.  Thank you for the chance to work with Perry's youth and continue to build a school we will all be proud of!
