What's Up?

Holiday Program for our Perry Community

We are concerned about families struggling with economic hardships. It is our desire to ensure assistance to families of our Perry Local Schools District.

We are pleased to inform you that The Perry Center is coordinating the Holiday Program for our Perry Community.

If you find yourself in a difficult position this year, please go to The Perry Center on Tuesdays 9:00 AM to 12 noon or Fridays 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  The Center is located at 4261 Manchester Road at the west end of the building.  The phone number is 440-259-3332.  You must become a Perry Center client to receive assistance for the holidays.                                

Please do not delay in contacting the Perry Center if you need assistance for Christmas.   Perry Center Christmas applications must be completed by October 17, 2025.

Math Tutoring is Free

Does your grade 6 – 12 student need help with math?  Free tutoring is available through ESC of Western Reserve.  REGISTER HERE

September 29 - October 3, 2025

WASHINGTON DC: Grade 8 students will take their annual field trip to Washington DC on October 7, 8 and 9, 2025. We wish them safe travels, a wonderful learning experience and loads of fun.

OCTOBER 10: NO SCHOOL - NEOEA Day

OCTOBER 15: Share Your Genius Day, grade 6; this is an annual event for our grade 6 students to begin exploring their own personal interests in their future careers. Students are matched into groups based on their reported interests.  Students leave the building and gain awareness off campus about careers that align with those interests. For example, we are currently planning around the following career areas: Public Safety, Healthcare, Engineering/ Manufacturing, Sports/ Business, Cosmetology, Fine Arts, and Performing Arts.

OCTOBER 16: Picture Retake Day, all middle school students and staff.

NOVEMBER 2 at 2 a.m.: Daylight Savings Time ends ~ clocks go back 1 hour.

NOVEMBER 6: Parent/Teacher conferences 12 - 7 PM, middle school students are dismissed 11 AM, no lunch will be served on this day (more information to come)

Parent/Teacher Conferences: Thursday, November 6, 2025 – Middle School students will be dismissed at 11 AM

Holiday Break: Friday, December 19, 2025 – Middle School students will be dismissed at 11 AM

Last Day of School: Friday, June 2, 2026 – Middle School students will be dismissed at 11 AM
